The Dionysian walls, erected by the tyrant Dionysius in the 5th century BC, once encircled the ancient city of Syracuse and converged at their highest point at the fortress known as Euryalus Castle. The underlying lands, rich in volcanic soils, have proven exceptionally suitable for Catarratto Bianco Lucido grapes. This wine exhibits a deep straw-yellow hue and a delicate nose characterized by notes of citrus blossom, Golden Delicious apple, and peach, with subtle mineral undertones. On the palate, it is dry, savory, and refreshing.
Targetta
